Why ATHX is booming in 2026

The 4-year Adidas partnership signed in late 2025 propelled ATHX into a new dimension. Born in the UK, the format expanded to Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, then France on April 25, 2026 at the Paris Event Center. First US event in Miami Beach in March 2026.

Where HYROX tests pure endurance, ATHX tests versatility. It's a test of the complete athlete, not the functional runner. If you have a real strength background (squat, bench, deadlift) in addition to your cardio, ATHX is probably more your style.
